General information
Lyceum Alpinum Zuoz welcomes learners who are willing and able to meet the school requirements and live out the school philosophy. For the Lyceum Alpinum Zuoz to fulfil its educational mission, the school management must be informed of the candidate’s character, academic and physical development and family circumstances. We must begin with the assumption that the parents or guardians agree with our educational principles and support us in our endeavours.
Admission can take place for grades 7 to 11. In exceptional cases, admission to the 12th grade may be considered.
Registration procedure
The admission and assessment of new students depends on past school performance, assessments and teacher recommendations. Applications are reviewed, and qualifying candidates are invited to attend an interview and take an admissions test – either here in Zuoz or via Skype. Candidates will then be informed of the school’s decision. Upon admission, the families concerned will receive a school contract and an invoice for the deposit to be paid. The enrolment becomes effective and a place secured, when we receive the deposit and the signed school contract.
Best time to enrol
Admission is recommended at the beginning of each school year. Starting school during the school year is not recommended, but possible in exceptional cases.
A place in the boarding school can only be guaranteed through early registration (at least half a year before school starts).
