The Lyceum Alpinum Zuoz is an international boarding school with a history stretching back over 120 years, located near St. Moritz in the heart of the scenic Engadin valley (Switzerland). 220 boarders from around the world and 110 local day students study at our school for the Swiss Matura, the IGCSE, and the International Baccalaureate Diploma (IBDP). Position Overview
As Associate Head of Admissions, you’ll lead our international recruitment efforts, deliver an exceptional admissions experience, and develop strong relationships with families, agents, and alumni around the world. You’ll travel globally to represent our prestigious school and work collaboratively across departments to ensure a smooth and engaging journey for every student from inquiry to enrolment.
Responsibilities
- Represent Lyceum Alpinum Zuoz internationally at school fairs, events, and webinars.
- Build and manage relationships with prospective families, agents, and key stakeholders.
- Oversee the end-to-end admissions process with a high level of service and personalization.
- Develop community engagement initiatives and lead student ambassador programmes.
- Provide strategic insights through market research and CRM data analysis.
- Manage and train educational agents; produce a regular newsletter and marketing tools.
- Support school events, re-enrolment efforts, and cross-departmental collaboration.
- Line-manage the Admissions Officer and deputize for the Head of Admissions & Marketing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Education, or Business (preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in admissions or student recruitment, ideally in an international context.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with diverse cultures.
- CRM proficiency and an analytical mindset.
- Willingness to travel internationally; multilingualism is a plus.
