Learning at the Lyceum Alpinum Zuoz
Learning at our school is inspired by critical thinking, creativity and the determination of students to give their best. Teachers help their students to acquire the ability to challenge the ideas of others and build their personal opinion about different topics. Our students are motivated to learn and work hard on their way to success.
In our daily Study hour of 80 minutes the students do homework and prepare for tests and examinations. Tutors are available to help students who have questions and need support, so that they are optimally prepared for the next day and upcoming exams. Study hour takes place daily from Monday to Friday.
Pupils who do not reach the required grade point average of their class have to attend extra study time. This extra study time of 80 minutes takes place Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday morning.
Private tuition or support programmes in addition to regular class lessons are available for students with special learning needs and for those who need to catch up on subject matters. External specialists are available to help and support students with special learning needs (dyslexia, dyscalculia, etc.).
