Swiss Matura (German, German/English and Italian/German)
The Swiss Matura allows every student to enter Swiss universities without having to take an entrance examination. Our students are prepared for the Matura examinations in 4 or 6 years. The Lyceum Alpinum Zuoz offers, in addition to the German-speaking Matura, a bilingual Matura programme in German and English or in Italian and German.
Further, Matura students have the opportunity at our school to sit for the German Abitur. The exams take place under the auspices of the Ministry for Education and Schools of the Bundesland Baden-Württemberg.
The International Baccalaureate Diploma programme (IBDP) is an English-medium university preparation course based on an approach to learning involving critical inquiry and is aimed at the education of the whole person. Every year more than 130,000 young people at schools all over the world take the IB Diploma examinations. Students enter the IB Diploma programme in Grade 11 and complete their studies with the final examinations in May
of Grade 12.
