Eating well is an important issue at our school which we take seriously. In cooperation with the School Management, students, parents, teachers, boarding house staff and external advisors our Head Food Services, Riet Egler, has drawn up a new food concept which guarantees an excellent culinary level in all respects: choice, variety, quality, freshness, nutritional value and presentation. Some examples of this new philosophy are more fish, more fresh vegetables, more wholesome products, considerably less pre-processed food, more choice – also in snacks between meals.
With eight kitchen and six service staff we strive to offer our students, teachers, other employees and guests a fresh, tasty, varied and creative range of dishes. We mostly purchase our products regionally, directly from farmers, butchers, bakers, hunters and other suppliers.
Our Chef, Riet Egler, has long experience in buying first-class products which he prepares freshly on the spot, turning them into tasty dishes. With his motivated team, which includes a trained pastry cook, he is happy to be able to provide the daily meals for so many students of different nationalities.
On offer for day students
In the main morning break from 10:35 to10:55 a snack can be had in the dining hall. Students are required to register for the entire year at the beginning of the school year.
No bookings are required for individual lunches. Day students may have their lunch at the school from 11:30 to 13:00.
