Chesa Arpiglia - Senior Girls' House

The Chesa Arpiglia, named after the mountain on the other side of the valley, is the boarding house for the senior girls (11th* and 12th grades). During their two-year stay in Chesa Arpiglia the girls study towards their graduation diplomas. A team of four women is responsible for the round-the-clock care of the girls in this newest and very comfortably furnished house.

Our goal is to help the girls attain independence, self-reliance and social skills. We are always ready to offer support, but also expect some initiative from them, because finally they have to make the effort needed to do well at school. We view life in Chesa Arpiglia as a process of gaining in maturity and as a continuous preparation for life after the Lyceum.

   

*Should the number of 11th-graders exceed the number of available beds in Chesa Arpiglia, these girls will be accomodated in Mädcheninternat.
