Student Organisation
The purpose of the Student Organisation is to foster the sense of community in the student body. The Student Organisation facilitates contacts between students, teachers and the school management and it encourages students to assume responsibility at school and in the boarding houses within the framework of democratic rules and the existing school structures.
Tasks of the Student Organisation:
- Listening to the wishes and concerns of students and – if necessary – passing them on to the School Management / teachers
- Organizing events
- Information on what is happening at the school
- The right to apply to the subject groups with suggestions for giving rewards for outstanding performance, in school, in sports or in community service
Each student of the Lyceum Alpinum from year 9 onwards is a member of the Student Organisation and has to pay membership fees of CHF 20.- per semester. These are debited to the student’s account. Membership expires when a student leaves the school.
