Forum Alpinum

The Forum Alpinum is a trust which is managed by present and former students of the Lyceum Alpinum. When organising events at the Lyceum Alpinum, the organising committee consisting of varying groups of present students is responsible for operations, in agreement with the Head of School. The Forum Alpinum generates a number of projects (mainly round-table talks and other talks) in the fields of culture, society, politics und business and creates links between these areas.

The Forum Alpinum places great importance on community building. Their purpose is to foster a network between individuals and institutions which commit themselves to creating positive socio-cultural conditions for young people. This should enable them to play their part well once they are themselves in positions of responsibility. The Forum Alpinum aims to encourage the dialogue on political, social, cultural and economic matters beyond geographical and ideological boundaries and to build bridges between the generations. This should provide ideas for facing the challenges of the 21st century. Young people should have the opportunity to contribute according to their talents and to develop their intellectual and social abilities.
