Boarding house weekend 6/7 June 2009

We started our journey on a wet Saturday morning. The coaches were full of Lyceum girls from the 2 houses. During the trip we encountered some difficulties but we made it heroically to the Swim Bad Säntispark in St. Gallen. There we spent a couple of hours splashing around on the slides and beating each other at bowling. We were having an enormous amount of fun with the boarding house
staff who had organized the trip. After spending some time drying our hair and fixing our make-up, we set off to the small village of Stein am Rhein on the Bodensee. We arrived at the hostel and were put into rooms of 6, that surprisingly had the names of countries. We had dinner at the hostel, while everyone was waiting in angst as to how long the teachers were going to allow us to stay out. 4th class got till 12pm. Score! We were so happy we jumped into our rooms and quickly changed so we could go to the village. Unfortunately there was nothing to see or do in the town. It began to rain again and we took a quick shower before landing in a restaurant/bar where we listened to music and enjoyed ourselves. The teachers came later and we all ended up having a great night. The next day was the long and tiring journey back to school, where it was apparently snowing. We stopped at the waterfalls along the way and took a boat ride across the river Rhein. We truely had a great time as the girls from Mädcheninterant and Chesa could really bond and we took a lot of pictures. Finally, we made it back to the Lyceum Alpinum (not before a quick stop at McDonalds, of course). We all had a lot of fun and we thank our boarding house staff for this wonderful trip!
